The X Trio specializes in playing a variety of jazz and bluegrass standards using flavors developed through their extensive experience playing together and with many other well-known musicians.

Multi-instrumentalist Sean Barfly plays mandolin, fiddle, five string banjo, steel guitar and guitar. Sean has played with countless bluegrass and country bands and has been involved in many regional picking and fiddling competitions.

Rick Zamora, a Northern California guitar phenomenon, was a sideman for Curtis Mayfield for ten years and performed at Woodstock.

Multi-instrumentalist Shawn King, adds percussion, backing vocals and didgeridoo to Mind(x). He has fifteen years experience performing and composing in traditional and pop music projects, including world dance band Akimbo, duos and trios with Joe Craven, the local Afro-cuban folklorico group Up From the Roots, jazz drummer and percussionist Babatunde, and more.
