31st Annual March for the Dream Convention Center Celebration

The Celebration features all types of cool and very interesting activities for people of all ages. Here, you can meet with employers, healthcare professionals, small business vendors, and other social advocates. As the theme is "Education," teachers from across the region will come together and host an Education Village for young people Kindergarten through Junior High, featuring crafts, face painting, movies, singing, and various types of educational resources.

If entertainment is your thing, you may want to enjoy the MLK365 Multi-Cultural Talent Showcase of Stars or Dramatic Actors Improv. For those who are "young at heart," visit the Wisdom Corner, a place to sit after a six mile march--a place to hear poetry, stories from our past and lessons we'd like to share with the next generation.

Visit the Art Village featuring varied works of local artists who would love very much for you to visit and perhaps purchase something from their collection!

If you are interested in the march that ends at this celebration, join it from either the Oak Park Community Center, Grant High School, or Sacramento City College earlier in the morning.
