    Thurs Til 9: Open Art: Hatch/Dance Works in Progress

    Enjoy an informal evening of contemporary dance and works-in-progress in the intimate ambience of the Setzer Foundation Auditorium at the Crocker Art Museum. Curated by Lorelei Bayne, Hatch features new and in-progress works by: Dr. Linda Goodrich, Sacramento Black Art of Dance; Melissa Wynn, Dangerous Lorraines Dance Theater; Philip Flickinger; Leandro Glory Damasco Jr.; Melisa V. Cervantes; and Tung Nguyen.

    Enjoy an informal evening of contemporary dance and works-in-progress in the intimate ambience of the Setzer Foundation Auditorium at the Crocker Art Museum. Curated by Lorelei Bayne, Hatch features new and in-progress works by: Dr. Linda Goodrich, Sacramento Black Art of Dance; Melissa Wynn, Dangerous Lorraines Dance Theater; Philip Flickinger; Leandro Glory Damasco Jr.; Melisa V. Cervantes; and Tung Nguyen.

    Bayne will also show a new work inspired by the exhibition Gong Yuebin: Site 2801. The audience is invited to give feedback in a post-performance conversation with the artists.

    This performance is funded in part by the Microgrant Program of the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission with support from the City and County of Sacramento. Lorelei Bayne/Projects is fiscally sponsored by Dancers Group, San Francisco.

    Space is limited. Free with Museum admission.

    Parking:

    The parking available around the Museum is managed by the City of Sacramento. On-street parking meters bordering the Museum and Crocker Park require quarters. A parking lot is available on Second Street and costs $3 per two hours. Parking for visitors with disabilities can be found in the parking lots and at meters located on 2nd Street.
