2012 Romanian Festival
Presented by Romanian Community Center of Sacramento
September 29, 2012
The purpose of the Festival goes beyond maintaining cultural heritage. The Festival is a great opportunity to unify a fragmented ethnic community of 30,000 Romanian-Americans in an effort toward creating a self-sustaining and socially contributing immigrant population. This community capacity building effort aims to increase education, employability, and the overall sense of community.
Last year, the event had over 3,000 participants during the festival and this year is expected to be even better! There will be large varieties of Romanian traditional food, great entertainment, folk costumes exposition, handicrafts and popular art, and tremendous opportunities for companies to advertise.
