The Capital City will be transformed into a cocktail connoisseur’s paradise for a spirited adventure like no other. The Midtown Business Association (MBA) is proud to present the 5th Annual Midtown Cocktail Week (MCW), a celebration uniting mixologists, fine spirits, fresh products, and artisan cocktails. This week long event will elevate the palate while highlighting the innovative bar programs in Sacramento.

The 5th Annual event is sure to impress. MBA has assembled a magnificent schedule filled with educational seminars, home bartending classes, tasting courses, and nightly events—all showcasing handcrafted concoctions of fine spirits and fresh ingredients.

In recognition of the 2012 election year, this year’s theme will combine cocktails and politics. Midtown Cocktail Week 2012: A Spirited Debate will incorporate political flair into all branding and event concepts. In honor of this, each participating venue has created a mock political party and has developed their event concept around their spirited political theme.

Developing the Sacramento cocktail culture is a key component of Midtown Cocktail Week, thus MBA has invited industry professionals and brand ambassadors from all over the United States to present fresh knowledge, tips, and tools to local bartenders, chefs, and restaurant owners. This year MBA is also working closely with the newly formed Sacramento chapter of the United States Bartenders Guild to bring education to our region’s industry professionals beyond Midtown Cocktail Week.
