Get ready to step back in time when the past mingles with the present once again in Old Sacramento! For the third consecutive summer, visitors to Old Sacramento will enjoy lively and interactive street theatre as part of the hugely popular “Time Travel Weekends” to delight guests near and far. The streets of Old Sacramento will come to life with talented performers who put on spontaneous and often-elaborate skits and performances.

Special performances are scheduled on four stages located throughout Old Sacramento including in the Eagle Theatre, Victorian Academy (north end of Train Depot), Pioneer Park, and Waterfront Park. Additionally, the talented performers will roam the streets of Old Sacramento throughout the scheduled weekends, putting on spontaneous and often-elaborate skits and performances so visitors can step back in time to the 1850s, 1860s, and 1870s.

Jul 28-July 29: Politicians, Patent Medicine men, and other Purveyors of Pomposity
Aug 4-Aug 5: Founders of Sacramento: featuring Sam Brannan and The Founding of Sacramento Pageant, Road Raising debates
Aug 11-Aug 12: A People at Play: Victorian Pastimes
Aug 18-Aug 19: Civil War In Sacramento: The Union Stronghold of the West
