    Judy Smith is the founder and president of Smith & Co., a leading crisis management firm in Washington, D.C. and L.A. For more than 25 years she has brought her unique combination of communication skills, media savvy, and legal and political acumen to clients facing a wide array of crises.

    Judy Smith is the founder and president of Smith & Co., a leading crisis management firm in Washington, D.C. and L.A. For more than 25 years she has brought her unique combination of communication skills, media savvy, and legal and political acumen to clients facing a wide array of crises.

    She is best known for her crisis management advice to a host of high profile clients, including Monica Lewinsky, Senator Larry Craig, Wesley Snipes, the family of Chandra Levy, and Michael Vick. This resume helped inspire the ABC prime-time hit drama, Scandal, on which Ms. Smith serves as co-executive producer, providing her insight and technical expertise.

    The Sacramento Speakers Series provides an open forum for the exchange of ideas, opinions, and perspectives as well as the enrichment of the Sacramento community. Each season's speakers represent a wide variety of subjects ranging from world affairs, politics, business & economics to the arts, entertainment, and the environment. Speakers are chosen on the basis of their career achievements, and unique expertise in their particular field of endeavor.

    Admission Info:

    Individual tickets not available. Season and pro-rated subscriptions are available to groups or individuals. Tickets range from $210 to $450 for the entire series, depending on seat choice.

    Parking:

    Parking for the Sacramento Convention Center Complex including the Community Center Theater is available at the city-run Memorial Garage at 14th and H Streets and privately owned lots within walking distance of the facilities. Parking rates vary by location and event. Also, on-street parking meters surround the Convention Center. Parking for visitors with disabilities can be found in the parking lots and at meters.
