    Tall Ship Hawaiian Chieftain

The Hawaiian Chieftain, which specializes in living history education programs for young people, is scheduled to make a visit to Old Sacramento. The tall ship, which is 103 feet, nine inches long with a main mast rising 75 feet from the water, will arrive soon, docking upriver of the Tower Bridge.

The ship is currently taking reservations for one-hour dockside and three-hour sailing programs for K-12 schools, youth service groups, and other organizations, along with general public tours. The crew, in authentic 18th century costumes, will be available to answer questions about the vessel’s voyages and discuss her educational programming.

Great ship! I really loves the fact that when spying into the ships galley I saw an iPhone plugged in. All old ship with today's amenities.
