Resurrection Theatre is a Sacramento-based theatre company dedicated to providing challenging and fiscally responsible theatre. Our determined goal is to constantly adapt to match our own growth as artists, finding fulfillment in substantive, organic art as opposed to manufactured “entertainment”.

The actors are all in top form and the writing is such that you can't walk away without being effected in some way. A look at our world in this age of terror at our back door. Who do you trust?     An interesting story is well performed by the cast. Dan Masden especially shines as the older brother. The play will leave you with questions, which is a good thing.

    This was a fun production at a great theater. This was my first show at the Wilkerson and the intimacy is very cool. The production hits the highlights of the work and the adaption to a female Macbeth was done well; Lady Macbeth bearing the brunt of the adaptation handily. But for a somewhat distracting current of evil in the form of set changes (many of which seemed unnecessary), I easily would have rated this at 4 or 4.5 stars compared to productions of its size. Whether you got the point of the witches' constant involvement as stage hands or not; the point was belabored. Perhaps a necessary evil of the confines of the stage. I would definitely recommend this performance, any performance at the Wilkerson just for the experience, and more Shakespeare by this director. Collapse
