The Alternative Arts Collective (TAAC)

The mission of The Alternative Arts Collective (TAAC) is to enrich and benefit the public by providing a community-based forum for the entire spectrum of visual and performing arts. TAAC encourages individual and collaborative artistic expression by promoting and empowering local artists, actors, and others to contribute their multi-faceted talents to provide ongoing creative resources that benefit both the artistic community and the community at large.

The Alternative Arts Collective provides a platform that supports, promotes, and empowers local visual and performing artists as they contribute to the cultural enrichment of the Sacramento region. As an arts hub, TAAC encourages individual and collaborative artistic expression through unlimited mediums, giving new and veteran artists the opportunity to explore and refine their craft in a non-competitive environment.

The community is invited to join in re-imagining the world through the power of art. TAAC Theatre encourages individual and collaborative artistic expression by using the workshop process to produce organic interpretations of both familiar and lesser-known shows.
