    1st Annual Torch Fest Torch Club 1st Annual Torch Fest Presented by Torch Club and Mylar Productions at Torch Club May 27, 2012 The legendary William Mylar Band will kick off the very first annual Torch Fest, which features 10 of Sacramento's best bands at the Torch Club on Memorial Day Weekend. Enjoy performances by Bleedin' Hearts, Island of Black & White, Howell Devine, Merle Jagger, Keri Carr, The Californios, Fortunate Few, Golden Cadillacs, and Walking Spanish. Don't miss this historic event!

Legendary singer/songwriter William Mylar hosts his popular Jam With Mylar show which features live, unrehearsed music with pros and up and coming rock stars. Performers as young as 4 years old have performed with Mylar on stage. Sing a longs encouraged!

      I went to the Jam with Mylar! in San Francisco this past Saturday and it was one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. So very different. Huge variety of music. First of all, Bill Mylar, is a great entertainer and the musicians he had with him on stage were all superb. I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I thought it would be like an open mike but it wasn't. It was a quality show in every way. They asked for a $5 suggested donation at the door, but I wound up donating $10. I can't believe this guy is doing this for free in Sacramento. Incredible variety of music. They did a stellar Jazz version of Lee Michael's, "Been 14 Days", a hilarious song called "Harvey & Sheila" to the tune of "Hava Nagila", Folk, Country, Blues and good old Rock n Roll. The Connecticut Yankee was packed and people were dancing to this mostly acoustic show! I think I'll make the trip up to Sacramento just to see this again. Collapse
