There’s a reason why the on-stage versions of The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast have been so successful on Broadway and elsewhere — Disney knows how to bring beautiful stories to life, no matter the medium.
  
  Currently staged at the Community Center Theater (presented by California Musical Theatre and Broadway Sacramento) is the national tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, which will delight fans of the film and newbies alike.   Absolutely loved the performance at the Community Center last night. The singing was awesome, the sets and lighting was one of the best I have seen. The charachters were delightful, especially Igor! There was a lot of thought given to details like the horses who obviously were not fans of the housekeeper. The monster dance in sillouhette and the puttin on the ritz tappers were the best. All I can say is go see it, its funny and crazy. Collapse

  The most amazing performance by two actors that I have ever seen. I was so moved by the performance that I actually forgot that I was not watching Nixon/Frost in person!! Stacy Keach has always moved me by his dedication to knowing and feeling his soul with the role he takes on. These two together WOW and I wish I could afford another ticket. Stacy Keach you have always moved me by your dedication to knowing the person you are portraying. Alan Cox, what a performance!! Thank you and truly my soul and bank account will never be the same as I am now sincerely addicted to the arts. Thank you, I truly thank you! Collapse
