California Automobile Museum

The California Automobile Museum is located a stone's throw away from Old Sacramento and the Crocker Art Museum. Their display of vehicles take their visitors back in time from the first cars to be mass produced by Ford all the way through current day. They have hands on exhibits that are kid friendly and are inspiring growth of vehicle wonderment in California.

Explore the history of the automobile and its influence on our lives–past, present, and future. Enjoy the Museum’s exciting collection of over 170 classic cars, race cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and early models displayed throughout 72,000 square feet of museum space. Buy an auto-related souvenir in the gift shop, enjoy a soda in the '50s style Vic’s Ice Cream vignette, and take a few pictures next to your favorite cars!

Citroen: L’icône Français will link these works to the cars to explore how the innovative engineering and ingenious marketing initiated by company founder André-Gustave Citroën built his legend.

    A great opportunity to buy and sell everything from car parts to car magazines. It's a great smaller swap meet. Should be a nice day with sunshine early. Plenty of free parking and a short walk to the swap meet. Bring a cart. I don't believe there will be food vendors, so bring your own coffee and donuts. BRING CASH! no ATM.. Lots of rodders, young and old show up. Traditional parts, muscle parts and some wierd stuff also. Come enjoy the swap with guys and gals that have the same interests as yourself... Collapse
