Enhancing Children's Lives...Inspiring Audiences

The internationally acclaimed Sacramento Children’s Chorus (SCC), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, has been an enriching part of the Sacramento community for almost 20 years providing excellent music education and choral performance opportunities to children in the greater Sacramento area. Our vision is to inspire a life-long love of music in our students through the pursuit and enjoyment of musical excellence.

The SCC was founded in 1993 and has been in continuous operation since that time, growing from its original chorus of forty young singers to five levels with 200 students. Singers participate in a progressive program that consists of five levels accommodating the various ages (7-19) and performance abilities. Singers are admitted by audition and membership is drawn from Sacramento, Placer, Yolo, and El Dorado counties where singers attend a variety of public and private elementary, middle, and high schools.

    Apres Le Noel Winter Concert St. John's Lutheran Church Apres Le Noel Winter Concert Presented by Sacramento Children's Chorus at St. John's Lutheran Church February 12, 2012 The Sacramento Children's Chorus is presenting their winter concert Apres Le Noel - Awake the Voice featuring Cappella and Cantoris choirs. Special guest soloist Carrie Hennessey will sing Laudate Dominum by Mozart.

    English Grandeur Community Center Theater English Grandeur Presented by Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra and Sacramento Children's Chorus at Community Center Theater April 14, 2012 The Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra, with Conductor Donald Kendrick, presents English Grandeur, a tribute to English Romantic tradition, with compositions by Ralph Vaughan Williams (Thanksgiving and Five Mystical Songs) and William Walton (Belshazzar's Feast). Special guests: Sacramento Children's Chorus with Director Lynn Stevens.
