    Ape Machine Blue Lamp Lounge Ape Machine Presented by Blue Lamp Lounge at Blue Lamp Lounge May 26, 2012 Blending equal parts rock 'n’ roll, blues, stoner rock, and psychedelia, Ape Machine is out to melt faces and pound the apathy out of otherwise jaded listeners with a wall of heavy rock 'n’ roll tones unheard since the days of bell bottoms, long hair, and blaring tube amplifiers.       Last week @ Distillery the place emptied out while Matt W. Gage played- no one wanted to hear him. He took so long breaking down that the other bands had to cut short.I've had the misfortune of seeing him open for good bands twice now...No bueno. But- Cash Prophets are a good show. Plenty of energy and true to form. I've seen them 5 times or so and never disappointed. Arrive late and miss the opener, Gage is a waste of stage time. Collapse

      Bob Wayne's show is a definitive spectacle of world-class entertainment delivered by way of hard driving, crowd- relating, fan pleasing and fantastic stories that hurtle through the crowd like a freight train with jets coming straight outta Hell. With his honest approach to writing about experiences, his wildly imaginative fantasies, and even (just one) love song, Bob's show makes his crowd know that they are on the tracks, and The Train is coming; so get off the tracks and on the train, or get run over! One of the most passionate live entertainers I have seen in decades. If you are looking for a great show, and a guaranteed good time in a "no bulls*#!, just good times and good music" atmosphere, this show will NOT disappoint! Collapse

      I have seen both Hellbound Glory and Matt "Wilson" Gage. Both artists are the closest real deal outlaw country singers you will get in parts. High energy and great performers. Enjoy it Sacramento!
