The Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission, established in 1977, is a public agency devoted to supporting, promoting, and advancing the arts in the region. Funded by the City and County, the Arts Commission provides funding to local artists and arts groups; promotes the arts through marketing, outreach, and education initiatives; provides resources to support and increase regional arts education activities; and serves as a community partner and resource.

    Home Works: Benjamin Hunt Robert T. Matsui Gallery at City Hall Home Works: Benjamin Hunt Presented by Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission at Robert T. Matsui Gallery at City Hall February 27-June 30, 2012 Home Works is a one-person show featuring a series of wood, translucent white plastic, and steel wall hangings and sculptures by Sacramento artist, Benjamin Hunt.
