Blood Source

Since our founding in 1948, BloodSource has been collecting blood donations and providing life-saving blood products to our communities and beyond. We are committed to doing what’s right, a simple philosophy that has helped us grow from a single blood bank beneath a water tower in Sacramento to one of the premier blood centers in the world.

After more than 60 years, thousands of donors give the precious gift of blood, and countless volunteers give their time and talent, assuring us all of a plentiful blood supply. In that time, our community-based, not-for-profit regional blood center has never lost sight of its essential mission: to provide blood and services to those in need. We are committed to collecting, testing, processing and delivering blood and blood components – wherever and whenever the need.

    10/19/09- 10/20/09	2nd Annual Causeway Classic Blood Drive California State University, Sacramento- Union Ballroom 2nd Annual Causeway Classic Blood Drive Presented by Blood Source at California State University, Sacramento- Union Ballroom October 19-October 20, 2009 The Causeway Classic bloodrive is an event in which Sacramento State students compete with UC Davis students to promote and attract the greatest number of blood donors.
