BloodSource

Since their founding in 1948, BloodSource has been collecting blood donations and providing life-saving blood products to their communities and beyond. They are committed to doing what’s right, a simple philosophy that has helped them grow from a single blood bank beneath a water tower in Sacramento to one of the premier blood centers in the world.

After more than 60 years, thousands of donors give the precious gift of blood, and countless volunteers give their time and talent, assuring us all of a plentiful blood supply. In that time, the community-based, not-for-profit regional blood center has never lost sight of its essential mission: to provide blood and services to those in need. BloodSource is committed to collecting, testing, processing, and delivering blood and blood components–wherever and whenever the need.
