Elk Grove Artists

Elk Grove Artists (EGA) is a non-profit, tax-exempt, philanthropic visual arts organization made up of local artists and art supporters/patrons in and around the Elk Grove area. EGA has been in existence for more than 20 years. Members come from a wide variety of backgrounds, including local art teachers and award-winning artists, as well as those for whom art is a passionate hobby. Some members have art school training and some have come to discover their artistic talents later in life.

The group features a range of abilities and also a range of artistic media. Oil, watercolor, and acrylic painting, digital and film photography, ceramics, sculpture, and glass work can all be found in the members’ studios. In addition, the artists address a broad array of subject matter from portraits, landscapes, abstractions, and local landmarks.

Elk Grove Artists are united in the common cause of showcasing the quality of fine art in the Elk Grove area as well as sponsoring The Elk Grove Western Festival High School Art Show and Competition and a scholarship program for a deserving Elk grove senior high school student. Membership is open to all who would like to be involved in the arts.
