Southgate Recreation and Park District

Since 1956, the Southgate Recreation & Park District (SRPD) has provided the community with public parks, recreation services, facilities, and an 18-hole championship golf course.

Throughout the years, the community has seen the evolution of the South Sacramento area; its growing and changing business base; incredible residential growth; and the District’s emphasis on preserving open space and creating walkable communities.
