Island Girl, ported Sacramento River does not cater to those with mobility issues... They fail to respond to inquiries and, mostly do not address this issue with prosective guests.

PLEASE... the worst place to spend my new years!! Bouncers were rude, telling us they can do what ever they feel like, bartenders don't know what they are doing, and the music was OK! $60 for what??... Expand

Our group pre-purchased our tickets and arrived @ 10 p.m. to wait in line for over 2 hours...The bouncers were very rude and the crowd of pre-paid participants became unruly, which entertained the... Expand
Our group pre-purchased our tickets and arrived @ 10 p.m. to wait in line for over 2 hours...The bouncers were very rude and the crowd of pre-paid participants became unruly, which entertained the bouncers. We had to wait and watch people from the street, not in line get in for $100 as we, the ticket holders, could not get in. We spoke to the manager, and he said, "I'm just trying to run a business". This experience put a bad taste in my mouth, especially for my first visit. We finally got in and the blonde woman working the coat check would not take our coats, she was booked but took another couple's coats because they gave her a tip! She was rude! Another person came to retrieve his coat and she could not find it. I think it was a blessing that I did not leave my coat. Inside the dance room over looking 10 & K was out of control and fights were breaking out and no sight of security. I was very disappointed and wanted my $40 back. Good luck to those attending next year. Collapse

Saw this last night with my husband and 11 year old son. Hilarious, creative, full of warmth and wit. High energy talent. Highly recommend.

I saw this with friends last year and we can't wait to go again this years and take others will us. You will laugh so hard you will cry. A great stress reliever. It will bring back Christmas stories... Expand

Per KCRA, the Santa Parade is back on! Mayor-elect Kevin Johnson donated the $20K that the parade organizers were short. The NEW date is Saturday, December 20th! Mark your calenders!

If you like Shakespeare you should see this production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. And if you think you don't like Shakespeare you should see it anyway because there is nothing not to like about... Expand
If you like Shakespeare you should see this production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. And if you think you don't like Shakespeare you should see it anyway because there is nothing not to like about this show. It's just plain fun. All the actors are excellent and totally into it. The actress (!) who played Puck contributed to the dreamy, fairy-land ambience by moving about with a balletic, athletic, poetic agility that probably only a real fairy could achieve. On the other hand the four-sided love triangle is as modern as MySpace. My mother said that back in her day young women did not throw themselves at young men. Evidently they did in Shakespeare's day, at least Helena did. And you have to admire the athleticism with which she did it. Everybody can enjoy this play, even kids. There's plenty of action but nothing indecent and nothing more violent than Pyramus and Thisby committing a prolonged but hilarious double suicide. Collapse
