I went to this last night and was glad I did. It was the best play that I have seen in a long time. Funny, funny, funny. The acting was great. I really believed that Holloman was a geek in real like but met him after the show and he was total cool. It was one of those plays that you just don't want to end. Thanks to all who worked on it. Can happiness come in the form of a pill? It certainly can when administered by the B Street Theatre Company in its performance of Kate Fodor’s Rx. This fast-paced show consists of multiple vignettes (kudos to the set crew, who spend almost as much time on stage as the actors) tracing the development of a drug which promises relief from one of the many heretofore unknown “conditions” pharmaceutical companies are so adept at identifying. This is a laugh-out-loud production in which each of the six actors gets a chance to shine as they navigate their own path toward happiness. Love and hope emerge as alternatives to the“ask your doctor” approach often touted in ads, but that’s no reason for you to forego your dose of what Rx has to offer. See this play and within two hours your mood is sure to brighten. Collapse
