Science & Space Center

The Discovery Museum’s Science & Space Center is home to the Challenger Learning Center and houses Sacramento’s only public planetarium, an animal discovery room, nature trails and a wildlife pond.

The Discovery Museum of Sacramento is a family-focused educational institution dedicated to enriching the lives of local residents and visitors to the Sacramento region by encouraging the exploration of history, science and space.

Hours: Tues–Fri noon–4:30pm; Sat–Sun 10am–4:30pm
