William Land Park

William Land Park, frequently referred to as simply "Land Park," is a major city park in Sacramento. The park is located between Interstate 5 and State Route 160. There are several city attractions located within the park including: the Sacramento Zoo, Fairytale Town (a park which has play equipment designed to represent articles from various fairy tales and nursery rhymes--there is a small admission fee), the William Land Golf Course, and Funderland (a small park with several carnival like rides primarily for very young children).

      Donut Dash William Land Park Donut Dash Presented by Tesco at William Land Park March 24, 2012 Run, jog, or walk 2 miles through shady Land Park to Marie’s Donuts, eat 4 donuts (or 6 donut holes or nothing at all) and then 2 miles back. All proceeds go to support the Child Life Program at Sutter Children’s Center, Sacramento to help pay for art supplies, toys, movies, video games, etc to benefit the children during their hospital stay. The start/finish area is near the corner of Freeport Blvd & Sutterville Rd inside William Land Park.
