Sacramento Fine Arts Center

Established jointly by independent art clubs, the Sacramento Fine Arts Center is dedicated to the creation and presentation of the visual arts. Offering classes, workshops, exhibits, and more, the Center is entirely self-supporting and operated by volunteers. Its operation is made possible by memberships, contributions, sales and rentals of art work, and numerous community fund-raisers.

The Sacramento Fine Arts Center houses Northern California Artists, WASH - Watercolor Artists of Sacramento Horizons, and other organizations and groups.

  • Technical Specs

    The Sacramento Fine Arts Center is located northeast of Sacramento in Carmichael. From the I-80 freeway, go east on Madison Avenue for about 1.2 miles, turn right onto Garfield Ave (south) for 1.8 miles, turn right onto Gibbons Drive (west) for 0.2 miles. The Center will be on your left. There are three flag poles in front of the studio.

    From Highway 50, exit at Watt avenue and go north, turn right on Marconi (east), left on Walnut (north) and right on Gibbons Drive (east). The Center will be on your right.

      Painting Where the Wild Things Are Juried Art Show Sacramento Fine Arts Center Painting Where the Wild Things Are Juried Art Show Presented by Sacramento Fine Arts Center at Sacramento Fine Arts Center May 8-May 26, 2012 Painting Where the Wild Things Are is an open juried art show at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center benefiting the Effie Yeaw Nature Center. This art show is a preview of the Auction and Gala at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center on June 9. Regional artists have submitted paintings of the American River Parkway and the wild things that live there. Juror is Terry Pappas.
