Davis Art Center

The Davis Art Center was founded in 1959 to promote the appreciation and execution of the visual, literary, and performing arts through classes, exhibits, performances, and special events.

The Davis Art Center's Tsao Gallery is a non-commercial exhibit space, which offers ten shows per year featuring contemporary two and three-dimensional work. The mission of the Davis Art Center's Tsao Gallery is to further the appreciation and understanding of the visual arts in the Davis community and surrounding region.

Throughout the year the Art Center hosts several recitals, concerts, theatrical productions, and gallery receptions. The Atrium is also a popular venue for community events, fundraisers, wedding receptions, and private parties.

      The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged) Davis Art Center The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged) Presented by Acme Theatre Company at Davis Art Center May 25-May 28, 2012 What does Shakespeare have to do with football, rap, bad Scottish accents, and cooking shows? Come find out as we revive this hilarious show that visits each and every one of Shakespeare's plays...with a cast of nine versatile actors and some truly bad wigs. This production is fun for the whole family. Bring your own picnic dinner, a blanket or lawn chair, and plenty of layers.
