The Strum Shop

The Strum Shop is a family owned musical instrument store which was opened by Daniel Elliott and Stu Herreid in May of 2012 when they both noticed a need for support of the rapidly growing ukulele community in the greater Sacramento area.

The Strum Shop is known for it’s many music workshops and concerts held all throughout the year. The Strum Shop offers private music lessons every day of the week and group lessons on various days throughout the week. They also offer instrument rentals and in-house repairs of fretted instruments as well as school band and orchestra instruments.

The Strum Shop was selected as a Top 100 Dealer by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), the global association of music products and music retailers in 2016.
