Everything we do, whether visual arts, writing or sound, is about telling the story. IdeaJones sculptures tell stories based on science or social issues and involve interviews and research into the subject. Their painting style is gently confrontational, encouraging you to see the life and intelligence in an animal’s eyes, whether it’s someone’s beloved pet or a member of an endangered species. IdeaJones also has an animated digital short that you can view on Facebook or on Youtube, “XX/XY: The Crone.”

IdeaJones’s nonfiction writing has appeared everywhere from NPR to the Bingo Bugle and has covered business, art, science, health and many other topics in print and on the radio.
