LaLa Ortiz

LaLa Ortiz has been creating all of her life. She's experimented in everything from beads to ballgowns and a bunch of stuff in between.

Her current favorite medium is polymer clay–she loves it for it's versatility and ability to be transformed into almost any material. She sculpts fantasy figures, dolls and puppets, and also create beads, bas-relief, vessels, masks, and so much more. Most of her projects include at least some polymer. LaLa has been exploring the possibilities of this medium for 30 years and still have only scratched the surface!

She enjoys teaching and sharing her experiences and techniques with others–knowing that she'll have new students to teach keeps her on her toes and forces her to strive to become a master of her techniques.
