Painting Portraits is an intimate exchange; A personal connection develops between me and the subject and is translated to the canvas for the viewers enjoyment. More than a likeness, my paintings express my deep intrigue, not only with the face of my subject, but with the spirit, the nuances, and the expressions each individual puts out in the world that makes them unique and special. From loving grandmothers to happy babies, and corporate founders to close knit siblings or romantic newlyweds, my subjects co-create with me a one-of-a-kind heirloom to pass down for generations to come.
