My love for oil paints sparked in my teens with a Bob Ross paint kit. Ever since then I have been hooked on this medium for its versatility and beauty. My stylistic influences hover around late 19th century realism and early impressionism. I would classify myself as a figurative painter, but that also includes a number of portraits and still lifes. I employ both direct and indirect methods of painting, usually combining the two to suit my needs on the canvas. I am a working studio artist and I also take commissions.
