Nick Lopez

Using only reclaimed wood, Nick Lopez creates art that is unique, and at the same time draw attention to the endless possibilities of working exclusively with salvaged wood. Assembled like jigsaw puzzles or mosaics, every work he makes consists of anywhere from hundreds to thousands of individual pieces of wood that are cut, glued, and nailed together, one piece at a time. Nick is particularly fascinated by the challenges involved in transforming scrap that would otherwise end up in landfills into beautiful sculptures or functional furnishings.
