Band leader and founder Norman Mcdaniel has 40 plus years of professional experience, with styles including, gospel, jazz, R&B, blues, and reggae.

Playing for him started in the fifth grade with music lessons, and at the age of eleven he was playing 70S R&B professionally throughout Northern California at private venues, county fairs, and military bases. During high school, Norman was part of a musical circle which included Bobby Ford (producer/songwriter for Jermaine Jackson), David Cochran (sax player for the Comadoors), and gospel recording artist Eugene Cole.

His band FBI opened numerous times for R&B legends Confunction and appeared on the TV show Soul is with Columbia recording artist Jeffrey Osbourne and LTD, also opening for Slyvester & The Two Tons of Fun. During his college years he majored in music, competing with the Solano Jr. College Jazz Band at the Reno Convention Center Jazz Band Competitions.

Since 1992, Norman has been the staff guitar player for the St. Paul Baptist Church. He’s performed at Raley Field, opening night for the Sacramento Kings, the Sacramento Monarchs, Governor of California’s Christmas Tree Lightings for the past five years, and the Inauguration Ceremony for Govenor Schwarzenegger, as well as being guitarist for D.O.C. (Daughters Of Christ).
