Tim Collom works mainly in thickly applied oils, with vibrant hues that capture a variety of subjects and landscapes. Collom went public with his art less than three years ago, and his simple and straight forward style has sold well. In 2012, the Sacramento Bee called him a "local art phenom" and Tim won the Curators award for the KVIE annual Art Auction with a vineyard piece which sold highest over retail.
Tim continues to paint nightly when he is not selling real estate. Collom opened the Tim Collom Gallery in Midtown in April 2012 and will be featured nationally on PBS thru May of 2013 on the show Rob on the Road. He is most proud of the money he has raised through charitable auctions in 2012. His "Four Trees" painting at the St. Francis Revelry auction recently sold for $4500. Tim is in over 75 private collections in California and is starting to spread nationally.
