The Community-Driven fundraiser offers relief to individual artists on a first-come, first-serve basis, dependent on the amount of funding we collectively raise using the power of social media. Funds raised will support artists in two ways: (1) in the short term in the form of a $200 emergency relief stipend and (2) in the longer term in the form of free programs, resources, and support for artists to pursue sustainable economic opportunities through this time of crisis. The number of requests for support that we can fulfill depends on how much funding we can raise. For more info and answers to FAQs, visit the Community-Driven Fundraiser page.

The needs-based funding initiative is currently being developed to address immediate needs and concerns of artists facing dire financial needs due to the COVID-19 crisis. Support from this initiative will be provided to artists facing dire financial emergencies, such as lack or imminent endangerment of essentials such as housing, medicine, and food. Assistance will include short-term cash relief as well as longer term support to empower artists with the skills and knowledge necessary to continue pursuing the arts as a career through this crisis. Recipients will be selected based on applicant qualifications, extent of need, and available funding.

Any artist in any discipline whose income has been impacted by COVID19-related cancellations and closures may apply for emergency relief and support. Stipends and support will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis, with the only limitation being how much money they are able to raise.

The only requirements are:
-You demonstrate you’re an artist by sharing your resume and website, where applicable
-You share this fundraiser with your own networks and provide a screenshot
