Calling all AAPI-owned local businesses! Applications to be a vendor at the 2023 AAPI Night Market are open now through January 23, 2023.

The Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Night Market will be a celebration of Sacramento’s vibrant AAPI culture. They’re honoring AAPI heritage across the six-county Sacramento region with a night of food and drinks, local vendors, and live entertainment. The night market will reflect the traditional street markets found throughout Asia with a local twist. The Sacramento community is invited to this all-encompassing celebration of this dynamic and culturally diverse region.

Vendor Criteria:
Priority will be given to businesses that were members of the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce prior to the application period. To learn more about membership, please contact Ana Bicha at with the subject “AAPI Night Market Membership – [YOUR BUSINESS NAME].”

Must possess the proper business paperwork:
-California Seller’s License
-City of Sacramento Business Operations Tax (BOT) Certificate
-General liability insurance (to list The City of Sacramento and the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce as additionally insured)

If you are a food vendor, you must possess one of the following in addition to the above paperwork:
-Multi-Event Food Facility (MEV) Permit, active on the day of event
-Mobile Food Facility (MFF) Permit, active on the day of the event
-OR Sacramento County Temporary Food Facility (TFF) Packet MUST be filled out no later than TWO WEEKS prior to the event

All vendors will be responsible for supplying their own tent, table, lighting and chairs for their booth.

Must have one of the following:
-Other POS system

Business applicant must have at least one owner/co-owner that has an AAPI background

Has capability to meet the inventory size needed to vend at market (3000+ attendees)

Possesses at least 2 staff members to vend at their booth and commit to staffing their booth from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM regardless of selling out.

Must commit to setting up their booth a few hours prior to the event based on the team’s load-in schedule

Can fill a 10’ by 10’ space. Vendors spots will be outdoors.

Vendor fees apply and will be incurred once the business applicant is confirmed to participate in the night market. Vendor fees include a complimentary 1-year membership to the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce.

Retail Vendor = $250
Food Tent = $300
Food Truck = $400
Current SACC Member = $50
