Glickman McClure Artist Award

The Pence Gallery announces that the Glickman McClure Artist Award is currently accepting applications from visual artists. This Artist Award supports the creation of innovative artwork by emerging artists in California. This award is under-written by donors Mark M. Glickman and Lanette M. McClure, and offers an award of $2,500 and a solo exhibit at the Pence for the following year.

The artist’s submitted work is of high caliber, original, and completed within the past five years. Preference will be given to artists who are under-recognized or ‘emerging’ in the art field, and who have a financial need for support to further their work.

Applications must be made here by 5pm PST on February 2, 2018. The application fee is $25 ($20 Pence members) via the same website. The Award will be announced by March 2, 2018. The exhibit will take place in January-February 2019.
