The Fall Show 2020 City Hall Art Exhibit

Cordova Community Council invite you to submit work for its 33rd exhibit at City Hall, The Fall Show 2020. This is an opportunity to show your best creative spirit. The Fall Show is typically our largest show of local art at city hall each year, and because of that please be sure you stick to the size requirements.

How to submit:

-Click on the button “Digital Submission of Work”
-Fill out the Jot Form carefully with regard to spelling and info.

This is a juried show.

There is no entry fee, however you must be a registered artist with the Cordova Community Council(to register you must live or work in Rancho Cordova or have a significant tie, such as being a current member of RC Arts or work in Rancho Cordova). If you are not yet a registered artist, you can do so online at https://www.cordovacouncil.org/call-for-artists#register

Size limit: minimum 12” on one side, and maximum 36x36”, Unless they are 48” in length and width is within the 36” including frame, and no more than 30 lbs.

All submissions must be your own current and original artwork and not previously shown at City Hall

Acceptable media: all media of two and three-dimensional artwork. 3-D must fit in the display case.

We are not responsible for artwork being damaged – Artwork behind plexiglass is preferred to glass.

ALL 2D WORK MUST BE WIRED, FRAMED AND READY TO HANG. Improperly framed works will be declined at intake.

Gallery-wrapped canvases must have finished sides, and no staples.

CCC will provide each piece of art with a tag with title, artist’s name, medium, email, and price or NFS

Artist’s contact information will be made available for interested buyers, but all art will remain on display until the end of show

All submitted work must include a completed tag provided below. Please attach to the back side of each submitted piece. Completed tags are necessary. Please print clearly and make sure info is correct.

All art pieces not picked up within 48 hours from the pickup dates noted below become the property of the Cordova Community Council unless arrangements have been made ahead of time
