1968: A Folsom Redemption

This exhibit is a photographic and journalistic account of Johnny Cash and his amazing comeback in 1968. Cash's career was waning and he needed a boost to get it back on track. Cash had started playing in prisons in 1957, but his concerts at Folsom Prison and the Journey from 1968-1969 all stemmed from that concert. After those famous concerts Cash had his own TV Show for a few years and re-kindled his failing career.
