Sacramento’s Armenian Food Festival celebrates its 71st year highlighting Armenian food and culture, making it one of the longest running food festivals in the region.

Sacramento’s Armenian Food Festival celebrates its 71st year highlighting Armenian food and culture, making it one of the longest running food festivals in the region.

New for 2018 is a featured mezzeh menu — in Armenia, appetizers (mezzeh) are a really big deal! Food Fest guests can enjoy a mezzeh plate of lamajoon, cheese bourag, rice grape leaves, and salad.
Traditional lunch includes a full menu of traditional favorites from lamb shanks, barbecue shish kabob, rice grape leaves, kufta/stuffed meat balls, cheese bouregs, and sweet delicacies.
Entertainment and dancing will occur throughout the day, including dance lessons for Armenian line dances, a concert dance program, and local singers.
Schedule:
-5pm-9pm: Mezzeh (appetizers)
-11am-3:30pm: Traditional lunch
-Noon & 3pm: Entertainment
