8th Annual Smoke- and Tobacco-Free PSA Contest

Breathe California Sacramento Region is excited to announce our 8th Annual Smoke- and Tobacco-Free PSA Contest! This contest is open to all middle school and high school students in Sacramento County. Students are asked to put their creative skills to the test by developing an up to 60 second long Public Service Announcement (PSA) video to raise awareness about the harms of commercial tobacco use in our communities. We are pleased to announce that we have a new and improved online submission method that will streamline the submission process for student participants.

The PSA video submission deadline is Friday, February 4, 2022, and contest winners will be announced at the Breathe Youth Media Awards on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the Guild Theater in Oak Park. After students submit their PSA videos, they will be directed to an Eventbrite link where they will register for this FREE in-person event where winning PSA videos and prizes will be awarded. This is an innovative and exciting opportunity for youth engagement.
