Short Center Art Show Opening Reception

For the summer, The Ice Blocks presents a large-scale window art exhibit, “The Short Center Show,” featuring artwork by adults with developmental disabilities.

The Short Centers are Sacramento/Stockton based DDSO programs that empower adult artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential. They have been serving the greater Sacramento community for over 40 years. They believe that art is the great equalizer and art allows the community to view their participants as artists and not individuals with disabilities.

All artwork is for sale, with 100% proceeds going to help fund the artists and art programs at the Short Center. Art that is sold will remain in the exhibit for the duration of the show.
