Adoration of Dora
In the late 1930s, Paris struggles against Nazi occupation, Spain implodes on itself, Fascism takes a foothold in Italy, and as the world descends into chaos, surrealist photographer Dora Maar faces the camera, her enemies, her art, and the long shadow cast by her lover, Pablo Picasso. Adoration of Dora explores the nature of art and creativity through the story of surrealist photographer and one of Picasso’s many lovers, Dora Maar.
