Calavera Paint and Sip Workshop (Día de los Muertos Oak Park)

Oak Park artist PATRIS has partnered with Día de los Muertos Oak Park to host this event, the first workshop in our month-long lecture and workshop series.

Attendees will be treated to a brief introduction by community member and Día de los Muertos Oak Park Director, Claudio Cisneros, who will frame the cultural significance of the art and its uses in observing Día de los Muertos. Participants will then be guided by renowned artist Patris in completing their own acrylic painting featuring a Catrina, which will be theirs to take home at the end of the workshop.

Come out to create your own piece of Día de los Muertos art.
