Annual Health Fair: Cultivating Community Health and Culture

La Familia Counseling Center (La Familia) will be holding their annual Community Health Fair with special entertainment, and workshops in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month and Latino Behavioral Health Week.

This event hopes to unite everyone who attends, with resources, music, food, learning, and bringing awareness to the rich and vibrant culture of Latinos in the community as well as bringing to light the importance of health, wellness, and Latino behavioral health.

Latino Behavioral Health Week is a time to celebrate the contributions of Latino’s in the community and also to reflect about the Latino perspective on wellbeing and shed light on the ways in which organizations like La Familia are providing accessible, quality, and culturally responsive services and  mental health resources to community members throughout the Sacramento region and beyond.

The diverse community enjoys gathering and celebrating the strengths of our rich culture with others.  We hope to see to everyone at the Celebration and Health Fair. Registration is free and the event is open to individuals of all ages.
