Clay Lab (Tuesdays)

Clay Labs are open to the public every Tuesday evening from 4:30pm-7:30pm. All ages and skill levels are welcome (kids under the age of fourteen are required to be accompanied by an adult at all times). Verge is now operating outside with plenty of shade structures and misters to keep you cool.

During Clay Labs, all supplies are provided. You may use up to 10 lbs of clay per class. We currently offer a cone 5 buff and also a rotating darker bodied clay. You are welcome to use our wide selection of clay tools, glazes, our slab roller and electric wheels. We can fire items up to 12 inches in any direction per lab session. Please check with the lab tech for acceptions.

Lab tech can provide brief demos for people who are new to clay but this time is not structured as a class. Verge Center for the Arts often offers ceramic classes, check our website for more information.
