Community Singing Circle at Sol Collective

Singing with friends and neighbors is an uplifting and healing experience. The Library of MusicLandria invites you to join a community singing circle on the first Sunday of each month, where all are encouraged to participate in musical creation!

This month’s circle is graciously hosted by Sol Collective, an amazing cultural hub inspiring change for good in Sacramento and beyond.

How a singing circle works: leaders make up simple vocal melodies, giving a different part to each section of the circle. The parts change over time. Together, create evolving, improvised vocal compositions.

Everyone can sing! This is a chance to exercise your vocal pipes without fear or judgement. There’s no need to have a “good voice,” read music, or know the words to songs. All are welcome.
