Drop-In Clay Studio

Drop-in clay studios are an open space where you can work independently on clay projects. If you are new to clay you can get a help and basic demos from our Education Associate but there is no formal instruction given during this time. All skill levels are welcomed and we encourage experienced ceramicists to use our wheels.

Admission fee includes use of tools, glazes, up to 8lbs of clay (about 1/3 of the bag) per session for use during drop-in, and firing one item no larger than 12 inches in any direction.

Note: Verge holds a bisque/low fire every month. Verge is not responsible for fragile items breaking or cracking during loading or firing. Verge does not fire items made outside of class or made with clay not provided by Verge. Verge only stores items for up to two months.
