Elemental Ayurveda

Journey through the elements with the ancient folk medicine system of Ayurveda. Elemental Ayurveda will provide an overview of the basic Ayurvedic principles, with an emphasis on the relationship between the natural elements and balancing the body, mind, and spirit.

Learning Outcomes:
-Understanding of Natural Elements and Directions and how they are used in Ayurveda
-Constitutional Analysis (Prakruti/Vikruti) and exploration of Doshas
-Tongue, Nail, Eye, and Facial Diagnosis
-Proper Diet for Each Dosha
-Dinacharya and Ritucharya (Daily and Seasonal Routines)

Alexandra Wilderness is the Executive Director of the Yoga Seed Collective and she is dedicated to the somatic release of trauma through connecting cutting-edge research with ancient healing modalities.

Alexandra is a certified ThetaHealing practitioner; Ayurvedic Health Counselor; Restorative and Vinyasa yoga practitioner; Flower Essence Practitioner; Folk Herbalist; and birth doula. She is also certified as a Social Permaculture Community Leader and permaculture designer through Starhawk’s ‘Earth Activist’ training.
