Elk Grove Diversity Month

The City of Elk Grove is celebrating August as Diversity Month! Travel the world without leaving the city.

Enjoy cultural entertainment and vendors every Thursday at the NeighborGood Market at District56 with bands InnerSoul, East West Band, Sour Diesel and Way Out West, plus dance performances from Gokul Dance Academy, Makamae Melia ‘O Polynesio and Hmong Youth Parent United Dace Group

Activities include:
-Take a cooking class, learn how to make Lumpia
-Attend an art show
-Get great deals at local eateries
-Register the kids for a cultural art workshop
-Experience other religions at an interfaith prayer event

-August 4 (5:30pm-7pm): Maya Band at Old Town Plaza
-August 5 (5:30pm-8pm):Way Out West Band and Gokul Dance Academy at District56
-August 12 (5:30pm-7pm): Inner Soul Band at Distrist56
-August 13 (6pm): Lumpia Cooking Class at District56
-August 19 (4pm-8pm): Art Show presented by the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center at District56
-August 19 (4:30pm & 5:45pm): Kids Cultural Art Workshop at District56
-August 19 (5:30pm-8pm): Sour Diesel Band and Makamae Melia O Polynesia Dance Group at District56
-August 26 (5:30pm-8pm): East Wind Band and Hmong Youth Parent United Dance Group at District56
